ABOUT ME
My name is Mathew White. I have been practicing in the Otways and Surf Coast in Victoria for the past 10 years. I completed a double Bachelor of Science in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology at RMIT University, Melbourne. My degree also included an internship in Nanjing, China. I have a particular interest in treating pain and sports injuries and have studied various bodywork techniques that I incorporate into my treatments to achieve better results for my clients.
Through a journey with my own health problems, I discovered the growing field of Functional Medicine. As a Functional Medicine practitioner, I aim to prevent disease from happening in the first place, and when it does, we seek to reverse it completely by investigating and then treating its underlying cause.
I enjoy working with people to find solutions to complex and hard to diagnose conditions. Some common treatment interventions may include acupuncture and bodywork, herbal or supplement support, diet and lifestyle modifications.
